Privacy notice — MVP draft
Swalife OpenLab collects information that visitors choose to provide through email subscription, consultancy enquiry and Research Desk registration forms. This may include name, email, professional role, selected interests, enquiry message, campaign source parameters, password hashes, saved content identifiers and book reading progress. Passwords are hashed, not stored as plaintext.
Purpose and choice
Subscription information is used to prepare relevant scientific communication where the visitor explicitly opts in. Enquiry information is used to respond to the specific request. Marketing consent for enquiries is optional.
Storage and access
Information is stored on the website hosting environment and accessible to authorised OpenLab administrators. The MVP does not use external analytics or automatically send marketing messages. Research Desk users can create accounts and save content; email verification, password recovery and account deletion workflows are not yet automated. Basic functional session cookies support form security and admin authentication.
